would it look weird - 36 inch range top with grill, with a 30 inch built in electric oven below it?

I want a 36" rangetop, but only a 30inch oven. I read a 36 oven takes too long to heat up and since I won't use that often, I am not sure how I feel about that.

Do you think it would look weird to put a 36 inch range top with a 30 inch electric oven below it built in to the cabinets?

Can you put a trim piece around the oven so it appears larger?

Or maybe build the oven in a cabinet on a wall, and just have a 36 in cooktop? Instead of the oven being under the rangetop? I think it might look strange to have them together.

I think it would look strange to have them together. Honestly though it is not much longer for the larger range to heat up. It is maybe an extra two minutes.

I think it would.

I would just go with the bigger oven.
How much longer can it take to heat up? And since you won't be using too often it won't be much of an inconvenience.

I would not do that. It would definitely look off.

I wouldn't do that. Get the same size or get a wall oven.
