How often

Hi ladies
I was curious how often you speak with your MD
I'm now on my second failed iui and haven't spoken with my MD since my initial visit months ago
Is that normal ?

How often

Could be but if you want to you can request to speak to him. I'd call and ask to speak to him/her.

My dr worked monitoring twice a week and I was usually in during at least one of those 2 days, so I would speak to him then. For my last (and successful) IUI, I happened to have also had him for the procedure itself, as well. And then RMA always schedules you with your dr for ultrasounds after your BFP. So I saw my dr alot throughout my entire cycle.

How often

I spoke with him all the time. Drs did the monitoring so sometimes I would see him then. Other times I would email him if I had a question and he would always get back to me immediately. After a failed cycle we always discussed how to proceed.

I email mine if I don't see him.
Sometimes, days are busy... So he gets back to me in the afternoon

My RE works mostly on Thursdays and some Mondays so I usually had monitoring appointments on those days and he would be the one to give my instructions and bill. He is also the one that did my last 2 transfers (1 successful). Once I had my BFP my sonograms were always on either Mondays and Thursdays so it just worked out that way.
