Dr. referrals

Hi everyone, I'm in need of some advice. I really truly love my dr, but I loathe her office staff. I never get return calls I have to call numerous times to get a response and they screwed up my last few appointments. I have a beautiful 27 month old DS and 2 losses after (none before). It's difficult dealing with an office staff who has no sense of urgency for a patient with a history of loss. I had some testing done by my ob's office, all which showed normal, but I would like a second opinion. I have an appt. with Dr. Brenner with LI IVF in a couple of weeks. I spoke to his office and Kofinas's office and the staff I spoke to at both where wonderful and I received immediate return calls for both. When speaking with them, I was insecure at first, because I'm so used to being cut-off and getting an attitude, but both offices asked me about "my story" and listened without interruption. Is this what I have been missing out on? lol

My question is I would like to seek another ob, preferably one who delivers out of LIJ. I will also ask Brenner, but I want your opinions, too.

I use Dr Lauren Bashian in Bellmore. She's great and delivers at LIJ. Also Dr Clifford Goldstein in Great Neck. He's sweet but a sole practice(as far as the OB part).

Thanks for the reply! What is her office staff like? Does she do all sonograms in her office, or do you have to go to LIJ for them?
