i go to Dr. Polukhin (SP?) at University Plaza in Garden City... my appointment a few weeks ago was my first with her and i loved her! i know a decent amount of people go to the Dr's there (they have quite a bunch in that office), and they all like them.
my only regert is that i didnt look to see what hospitals they were associated with (b/c i would most likeely want to deliver @ north shore LIJ since i work there), but most of them are affiliated with Winthrop.
(though by the time we have kids, we hopefully wont by in NY anyway, so thats not a huge factor) but just wanted to let you know about that part- if the hospital affiliation makes a difference

I think my SIL goes ther to a Dr Braverman and she will be delivering at Winthrop anyday now

I use Melissa Oppenheim in Great Neck. She is affiliated with LIJ. I followed her to this practice, so I have not met most of the other MDs yet.

I go to Dr. Jessica Jacob in New Hyde Park, I'm sorry I don't have her office number with me
I think she delivers at LIJ & North shore Manhasset.

Dr. Byrne in Garden City. Been going to him almost 10 years now. He delivered my son at Winthrop. He's a sole practicioner and I really like him!

I loooove my practice, all the Drs are wonderful, it's Northern Obstetrics and Gynecology in New Hyde Park. I use Dr. Bernstein there mainly.

Women's Health Pavillion in Westbury. Dr. Saad is a wonderful, wonderful man. I had switched Dr.'s during my pregnancy because I was not comfortable with his associate (but then again, I am way too picky about Dr.'s).
I have switched back to Dr. Saad and can stay with him since I will always be a planned c-section in the future. This man is so caring and wonderful - he cried right along with me and hugged me many times as I explained everything to him. Makes me wish I had never left

I use this group as well! They are amazing. I just had a baby and it was a wonderful experience because of the drs. at University Plaza... Dr. Polukhine sent me to the hospital to be induced, Dr. Cafaro started the induction, Dr. Miller took over, and Dr. Scavo delivered. (I was in labor for 3 days)
There are 7 doctors in the group. 4 males, 3 females. I highly recommend them!

she delivered my baby in March...I use Dr. Scanlon in the same practice and was seen by each of the Dr.s in the office numerous times...they are all great!
