My long overdue Christine Braun rave
I have been meaning to write this since the summer but life got crazy and we've been renovating our house since June but I wanted to make sure to write a post about how wonderful Christine Braun was as our buyer's agent!
I knew from reading the home board for several months before we started our home search that I would want to work with Christine. I wanted someone really knowledgeable and smart and who could provide honest and helpful information about the whole home buying process and about the neighborhoods we were interested in. With Christine's help we purchased a great home for us - a bit of a fixer upper that we planned to fix up ourselves, ourselves, which allowed us to get a good price for our house in an area with a good school district. With it being an estate sale and needing a bunch of CO's, coupled with a really awful attorney on the seller's side and many miscommunication issues that all wound up dragging the sale out for months, Christine was always by our side, going above and beyond to help resolve every issue that came along and offer advice and counsel when it seemed like everything was imploding! She was always there to help and reassure us, even after we closed to make sure that the CO issues were fully resolved. She came by afterward too to see the house and gave us a nice and thoughtful housewarming gift. (And she came and watched in disbelief as we moved a shed to make it CO compliant - which I'm told people don't normally do lol but now she can tell you how to do it too!)
I fully believe our sale would not have gone through if Christine wasn't there working so hard on our behalf. She never pressured us but she knew how badly we wanted this house because we saw it for what it would become and we are so grateful to her. I felt its only right to share this so others could hopefully benefit from her assistance as much as we did! Christine was so great and I would use her as my buyers agent again in a heartbeat. I highly recommend her, especially to first time home buyers like us!!

Thank you so much! It was a pleasure working with you guys, although the C/O issues are always a killer! But I LOVE what you did with the house, and I am very happy that I know have a new tool in my arsenal... how to move a giant shed to make it compliant with current code!  Hope you are continuing to enjoy your house.

I'm so glad it all worked out. Christine has answered a ton of real estate questions for me over the years with a lot of detail to the answers. I thrive on details .
