makeup essentials?
Looking to entirely restock my makeup and face care products. What are some things you use/do daily and some things you use/do on special occasions? Just looking for ideas, not so much brands. I literally just wear a bb cream, eyeshadow, eyeliner and mascara. I want to change it up and look more flawless at certain times. Thanks!

If you want a more flawless face, go over the BB cream with Bare Minerals. That is what I do. BB cream to smooth everything out and then the Bare Minerals goes on nice and smooth and really gives a more finished, flawless look

I have found that Paula's Choice skin care line has made a HUGE difference in my 40 year old skin. I started using it a few months ago and my skin looks and feels much better and younger. Definitely check it out.
And yes, the Bare Minerals over the BB cream really works well- it's like the BB cream creates a nice base so the Bare Minerals doesn't sink into lines and pores like it would when I wore it alone.

Depending on what you're working with--filling in eyebrows can make a big difference.
As can using concealer ( after the BB, before the powder)
If you have perfect skin & don't need concealer, you can still use a brightening concealer to highlight.
Blush can make you look younger & more awake.

Also try a primer before your BB cream. On a daily basis I just use the BB on my bare face, but when I want to look flawless or when I am at an event where I know I will be photographed I will use the primer first and it really makes a difference. I use smashbox photo finish primer.
