Fitted Sweaters - Express vs Loft??

I've always been strictly a Loft girl. I do see that Express has some v-neck fitted sweaters... the type you'd wear to work with trousers or a skirt, etc. Loft has them too, but not as many colors. Any experience w/Express stuff? I haven't shopped there since my 20's. Are the super fitted and not really work appropriate? Am I better off sticking with loft? WILL a top like this one, below, show my muffin top?

The LINK is express' version, and the Pic is Loft's. Any thoughts?

IMO, I've found that Loft sweaters/tops are looser and boxier than Express. Express is more 'juniors' styling and slimmer fit.

As far a quality, I'd have to feel both sweaters to see which one I think would wash up better and hold their shape. Some start out ok, but then pill up a lot.

I'm pretty much almost always happy with stuff from the Limited, then the Loft. I shop in Express the least.

I have two sweaters from the Limited that I LOVE but it seems that most of their sweaters have some wool in them this year I can't stand to wear wool, even if its only 10%. I must be allergic.

I prefer the quality of Loft compared to Express. None of my clothes from Express ever hold up. They lose their shape fast. I stopped shopping there.

I ended up ordering the sweater, above, from Loft in 3 colors. I do like their quality, just wish they had some more variety of color this year.
