The Disney store, obviously. I like their stuff and can't wait to get some for DD.
Gymboree also has some cute tutus and stuff, sometimes they have costume clothing.
Toys R Us has a bunch too and Target right now in the holiday toy section has a bunch.

Toys R Us, Target, Amazon & Disney. All a good selection, and all reasonable prices, although Disney I've found is more expensive than the rest.

This place gets good reviews, and their costumes are washable, and still come out looking the same as they did before they were washed. http://momapprovedcostumes.com/

Most costumes at Target, TRU etc start at size 3T. Disney has more sizes. Also, I personally hate glitter coming off everywhere, so their Mom might feel the same way. I would try mom approved costumes, but I haven't yet.

I have a few dresses from target and disney. Disney is much better quality but you pay more $$. I would order a larger size so they can use them longer. My son is 2 1/2 and likes to dress up with his sister. He fits nicely into the 5/6 even!

Disney store. We have had princess things from other places and they just don't hold up. Jc penny's has a disney store with almost the same dresses just cheaper.

Re: Dress up clothes for girls
Kohls usually has them on sale for like 16-22. They are the Disney ones.

Re: Dress up clothes for girls
Disney store has sets you can buy. This is the best set. My DD has it since she was 3. Just about fits now.http://www.disneystore.com/disney-princess-costume-wardrobe-set-for-girls/mp/1364817/1000395/
Yes as poster above said order larger.

I'd definitely go with mom approved costumes. The amount of glitter that comes off the other costumes is ridiculous. My house is covered in it! Just something to keep in mind. I now buy all her dresses from mom approved and the accessories from Disney.

Dress up clothes for girls
For dd's second birthday she got a cute Rubbermaid bin with a bunch of random dress up stuff and she had a blast with it. There was atutu, an apron, tiaras, necklaces, wings, a fancy hat, sunglass, etc. Just a different idea to consider. I like it bc she can get things on and off herself. She just got her first trite dress up dress and it makes me nuts bc she wears it all day everyday.

They also have a Frozen one.
My 2.5 yr old DD loves this. I think it will only be good up to age 3.5/4.
