Work holiday party
After work during the week Carlyle on the Green.
Cocktails and buffet dinner and dancing.
Do I need to get dressed up for this?
Or work appropriate? Black pants, nice top....

I think black pants, nice top is fine. Maybe try to wear a festive color or a little extra sparkly accessory.

I think a lot of people will get dressed up in this case. I'd go with a dress.

I ordered a black wrap dress and I think I'm going to wear that with some sparkly jewelry.
I asked the ladies at work yesterday and they said its a mixed bag.
Most people come in work appropriate wear with a holiday color top.
They also said some people change into cocktail attire. Anything goes really....

ahh office holiday parties...where 2 or 3 women get dressed up like hookers and and it takes 6 months for people to forget that they work with complete train wrecks.

You could go either way either a little dressier then what you would wear to work or a dress.
