Hat/Fascinator for a Shower:
I was invited to a shower at a REALLY fancy place that has a theme - it's like an "English Tea" theme. It was requested that each lady attending please wear a fascinator or high tea hat... Meaning, like the Duchess wears. I figured I would do a fascinator bc I feel like the hats are worn by someone like Camilla 
Here's the dress I'm going to rent (blushing):
RENT THE RUNWAY DRESS
Well, I went on Etsy and I found a cute fascinator that's not too $$$ bc, of course, when I first searched I found ones that Kate herself probably wears for a small fortune!
So, AMAZING vendor - the fascinator is adorable and so well made. The woman makes them herself. It came in the flashiest of flashes - like three days and it was on my doorstep! I'm going to wear the dress shown in the link above with nude hosiery, and black heels with a black bag (to go with the headwear). What do we think?? Should I do black hosiery? I'm just not sure if it's too purple and black and almost color-blocky that way.

I would love for someone to throw a party I could wear a fascinator to. I've been eyeing up this shop that does replicates of the Duchess' fascinator - GirlFabulosity

Awesome vendor also!! A little on the more $$ side but worth it if you are looking for something just like the Duchess... I would have if I could afford it! They are beautiful. Looks like she runs some great sales!

Thanks everyone - yeah, nude was my gut instinct so I'll def go with that.
You should see some of the hats and fascinators friends and family members of mine have been emailing around to each other that everyone is going to wear that day! SO artistic and cool! It should be a really unique party! So much fun and exciting.

I went back on last night and bought two of her cozy, soft knit headbands for the winter -- they are done by hand and look super warm!
I bought one in like a caramel color and black -- I love the white on her but I don't have her coloring -- I'm ghost pale with red hair so I need the other colors LOL

Man, if they could see how WHITE my legs are they would never, ever say that!
I wore very very sheer nude to a Christmas party last week. And guess what? I looked hot.
I got tons of compliments and NOBODY mentioned how tacky my hose was.
So, go for it!
The other thing is, sometimes you need a little 'control' in the tummy and thigh area and there is nothing like a good old pair of pantyhose to wrangle that in.
When I go bare in the spring, summer and fall, I always miss that little extra "bulge" control that the hose provides!!!!

I mean, the Duchess does the nude hosiery all the time - she practically put nude hosiery back on the map!
I don't need control or wrangling... I'm perfect, it's just for looks only.
