Social Skills 3yr old??
So we had our final eval today for Behavior.
She told us it shows my son has social skill issues & gets mad easily if someone comes in his space.
Do you send your child somewhere for this?
He is not on spectrum. He passed his PT eval & OT was only 1.25 devations below so not sure if we will get services.
Our meeting is 12/16. Does anyone have advice on what to do if services are not approved??

Did the OT eval indicate any sensory concerns? It may be more of a sensory overload/ spatial issues than due to social reasons. However, if it is more socially based, there are ways to work on it in play therapy. I am here if you have any questions -- i am a School Psychologist.

Thank you SO MUCH for responding Anne. They didnt say if sensory overload but am so curious to see report. I do believe he has sensory issues though.

Where are you located? My old EI ABA therapist (who was awesome) just opened up a center for special needs children....mommy and me classes, social skills, open plays, etc.
