Not feeling well

I went to LIJ last night and was told I was having preterm contractions. They told me to go home and rest and come back if they got worse. I stayed home and rested all day today. As soon as I went up the stairs and did a few things around the house, they were back. I went back to LIJ and they said it wasn't anything to worry about unless the contractions are close together. The problem is that I feel awful. I feel like I can't do anything bc it makes my stomach tighten and I get an awful lower back pain. I'm supposed to go back to work Thurs but I just don't see how I can physically handle it. Has this happened to anyone else?

Yup. I had preterm labor and a preterm delivery. When I went to LIJ I was in so much pain and felt like they didn't want to do anything about it. Eventually my Maternal fetal medicine Doc called for a csection. Then I had to wait hours for my OB to arrive and before she got there I went into full blown labor. Had my csection.

Keep in mind I have a history of preterm deliveries. How many weeks are you?

I'm also about 30 weeks and feeling pretty crappy - lots of tightness and cramping. Good luck
