I have been to the one in Mexico and it was to die for. Loved it!!
I have been to DR but made the mistake of "lets try something different!" and went with Majestic Elegance, which was HORRIBLE. No AC in our room, switched rooms and was walked in on by a member of the staff (didn't knock) while I was in the shower. No apologies for that and it was just one bad thing after another, after another.
I should have stayed with the Excellence name

The Reserve @ Paradisus Palma Real. We went with our family for Thanksgiving. Best time. It's geared towards couples & families. Accommodations I think are the best, mini condos
