My Gym or Gymboree
Hi moms My LO jus turned 3m. I wanted to start doing some Mommy and Me classes. I am debating on My Gym in West Babylon or Gymboree (either Woodbury or Levittown). Have any of you tried both? What are the main differences? What do you prefer. Ill probably try a trial class at m=both but would love feedback for those of you who have gone with an infant.
Thanks!

My Gym or Gymboree
I have a different perspective because I worked for Gymboree and took my son to My Gym. DS started My Gym when he was one year, so I can't speak for their infant programs. But one of the main differences I noticed was Gymboree was much more structured than My Gym with their acitvities. The baby class is very cute at Gymboree.

Re: My Gym or Gymboree
I took both trial classes. I loved Gymboree so much more. It could be the comparison of the 2 specific sites...
Our Gymboree had professional singers & actors. Classes were very structured and imaginative (climb a fire truck, wash it... Where a fire truck was a cleverly arranged bunch of climbing equipment and small slides)
My gym had a bunch of super young people who at the time I was visiting were obviously sick and had different activities (swing across room, jump into ball pit) focused more on physical activities.
Try both. I think the specific instructors may make a real difference.

My Gym or Gymboree
I think each place is different, especially depending on the location (I think many are ind owned as well). I tried Gymboree in Smithtown or St. James and then My Gym in STony Brook and liked the atmostphere and people of My Gym much better. But I think you have to actually go in and get a feel for yourself.

My Gym or Gymboree
I went to the Gymboree in East Northport and the My Gym in Huntington. I liked My Gym a lot better.
