Hash Brown Side Dish...weird for Christmas Dinner?
I have a bag of shredded hash browns...is it weird to make these instead of mashed or roasted potatoes for Christmas Dinner? We are having Ham & Lasagna.

I think anything goes as long as you and your family enjoy it.
My mom always makes coleslaw for thanksgiving, Passover etc. Typically it does not go with the meal or holiday, but she loves it with those meals..

I've made one before, it was a copy cat recipe of the hash brown casserole from cracker barrel and it was a huge hit!!
