Ladies doing/who did the blood test to find out the gender!

How will you and DH find out what it is? You find out up to 2 weeks later so you can pick up an envelope or have them call you I imagine.

We were trying to think of cute ways for us to find out and then we can tell everyone else another time.

I'm not doing the blood test but am planning on doing a gender reveal cake to find out

I have the cvs test on this Wednesday and will have preliminary results (including gender) on Friday. They'll be calling my cell with the results. For us, the preliminary genetic info is way more important than finding out the gender (though we're anxious for that too!).....so will just take the news over the phone.

With DS, I found out by accident and DH wasn't with me. Didn't change our excitement level in the least.

DH and I were just going to go together. But he had an emergency at work and had to go in. Since our reveal dinner was Sunday and it was Friday we couldn't wait, so I found out alone and then called him the minute I left the drs. He could tell from my voice.

I made my own reveal cake and the dinner was so special I don't think either of us were disappointed in how we found out.

Since we both knew we let the grandmas cut the cake.

I had the Materniti21 test done. We went to the doctor for the results and instead of them telling us the gender I had them write it on a piece of paper and put it in an envelope. I took the envelope to a bakery and had them make a cake. We did a small gender reveal party that night.

I had Verifi done....they wrote it on a piece of paper in an envelope and we opened it together when we were alone. We told our families over the phone.
