EM School District - Full Day Kindergarten Petition

Mt Sinai in Suffolk is also half day Miller Place just this past Sept became full day!!!

I feel like I'm the only one who would prefer half day.
I could see some benefits to half-day. But most families in the area need a full-time option. 1) I work, as do most other neighborhood moms. So full-day kindy would minimize a huge childcare expense for most of us. 2) I can't speak for all children, but my daughter needs a full day of school. She thrives on structure and routine and needs to be constantly engaged.

Nope. School is from 8:30-12:30 and then they have a "School Life Plus Bridges program" until 6. Which is $30/day!!
