How long did DH abstain?
Hi ladies
One more question. How long did they recommend DH to abstain. We re going to retrieve on Tuesday and was given no direction on this
We are doing ICSI so was maybe thinking the sample should be fresh since it may be at 5 days by Tuesday
Appreciate any thoughts

If I remember correctly I think I was told the day you trigger your partner should also go his thing. It's been awhile though so maybe someone else can verify.

I think DH was 4 or 5 days prior to retrieval day. Its usually no earlier than 3, no later than 5. You should have instructions. Also, with ICSI your embryologist weeds out only the best looking guys to fertilize so as far as collection goes, its actually a bit less stressful than collection during and IUI IMO. Lots of luck!!!!

This is good advice. DH's samples were always best on 1-2 days abstinence.
