21 Day Fix/Shakeology Challenge

Im thinking about doing the 21 Day Fix/ Shakeology challenge.. anyone have any experience with either the 21 day fix or shakeology? Good/ bad?

I haven't completed the program but have done some of the workouts before and I enjoyed them. I will tell you that while I like the premise of the 21 day fix in teaching portion control, I think the amount of food they give each person is not so great. When I figured out what I would get, the program gave between 900-1000 calories. By default it told me to increase to 1200 calories and this was including exercising 6 days a week. That is barely enough food for someone who stays in bed all day everyday. I think the workout programs beachbody has are great but I stand by my assertion that for nutrition advice you should really see someone who is a specialist. Most coaches (and I say most, not all a I am sure there are some that ARE experienced in nutrition) are people who sign up with the company for the income and have no real education in nutrition or training for that matter. Just do your research.

As for shakeology I think there are better, cheaper alternatives.

Agreed! I completed 21 days, lost 13 lbs. and felt great without Shakeology. I liked the workouts but def felt I needed more food most days. Anyway, summer came along and I gained back about half the weight. I am going to prob start a modified versions. It is a good program overall. A little difficult because there are no rest days.
