To go bare or not to go bare??
I have heard a lot of controversy about wearing tights or sheer\nude legs or go with nothing at all. I usually go to weddings in warmer weather and go with bare legs and open to shoes. Iam going to an event soon and it's friggin cold at night. Do you ladies still go bare legs with a dress in the winter? What do you usually wear?

For a dressy occasion, always bare! If it's casual, work, etc.. then tights.

I normally wear stockings as i dont like the look of bare legs. Occasionally, when i do go bare, i use the leg spray by sally hansen as it covers imperfections and makes the legs look like silk.

Bare. IMO a sheer pair of stockings will not keep you warm and really how long are you outside.
I also have never see a nice pair of stockings no matter how expensive they are.

Re: To go bare or not to go bare??
I've done both. And still see a lot of women wearing stockings.
ETS: wearing stockings for me isn't really about keeping warm. I think it helps give my legs a smoother look and helps me feel less jiggly..lol I use to have spider veins and it would help camouflage them. Now it's just to help the jiggle if I don't feel so fit.

I always wear stockings, I just don't like the look of my bare legs. I have heard rave reviews about Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs, but haven't tried it yet.

Re: To go bare or not to go bare??
I always go bare - how long are you outside? From the car to the door? Especially for a wedding, there's almost always a valet - so it's literally 10 steps!
I personally don't like the look of silk stockings - I think it looks silly to be wearing a sleveless or strapless dress so your whole upper body is bare ..........and yet you MUST cover your legs? KWIM? Unless the dress is long sleeves ...........

Re: To go bare or not to go bare??
I always wear stocking, hate the look of bare legs with formal dresses. Bare legs are too casual. Hanes Silk Reflections are my favorites. Stockings will not keep you warm. It's usually only a minute or so that you are outside, going from car to inside.

Re: To go bare or not to go bare??
For me it depends on the season lol. I must admit I have nice long looking legs but if I'm attending a formal affair in the winter (with closed dress shoes) I will wear a nice pair of sheer stockings, a true natural nude sheer. I also do think they keep me a bit warmer.
