So.. Poltergeist ALWAYS scared the crap out of me as a kid..
They are remaking it.

I set up a foo-foo account (I have an email for such things) and gave it my old address in NY cause my house here is less than a decade old.
It wants $11.99 for the order.. but you use promo code: Poltergeist and its free..
Sure enough no cc entered. fake name and foo-foo email (that never required me to go to my email to check for confirmation I might add)
It showed me a tiny map I could check that yep that's the address..
It says no deaths.. BUT:
* EMILIO XX-im not sharing it-XXX died 10/05/2004 but nothing indicates the death was at this address.
I moved in in April 05. Seems he died in Corona Queens not at the house. This thing lists all associates of that address so hubby and I both popped up along with my mother in law who sent stuff to our house? LOL
I searched because I SWEAR we had a ghost, we talked to it and it would respond by its actions. Then again I don't think you need to die there to be a ghost there, just have a connection, ya know?
So I figured I'd share.. enjoy or not..

Ok I did it. But I knew no one died in my house. The people we bought it built the house in 1950 and lived there til the end and the couple both died in Hospice care facility.

I tried it too. No one has died in my house. I knew the previous owners husband had died, but I knew it was not in the house.
I was surprised at how many people were associated with my address though. 47!

Same for me...I know previous owner died here and it said they didn't!

I wouldn't be scared though if someone did. I don't have a fear of ghosts or poltergeists.

Hell to the No! I can't even watch coming attractions without getting scared. Hate horror movies. I have actually yelled out that I am a baby and if there are ghosts to please not scare me bc I'd be scared sh%^less!

It said no one died in my old house growing up. I will not do it for my current house. My grandmother definitely died in my old house and it didn't have her associated with even living there. My other grandmother was associated with living there but never lived there. she lived in GA and FL.

I ran it, but it says no one died in the house, which is incorrect. My SIL passed away in the house last year. Maybe their records aren't up to date.
It did have several family members (including some that never lived in the house) listed. The house has been in the family for more than 80 years. I'm not 100% sure, but my DH's grandmother (the original owner) may have died in the house as well, but that was back in the 1930s.

My house was built in the 1930's so I'm not going to go to that website because I feel like there's a good chance someone may have died in this house and I'd rather not know.

so I just did this bc my DH and I are convinced we have "something" going on at home. I am semi freaked out because no one died there BUT the last name of someone who lived there and died is my grandmothers maiden name. Freaked me the f out!

Oh hell no! I found out the previous owners husband killed himself but am still unsure of where. I freaked out, literally took the baby and sat on the front steps till my husband got home. I have since sprinkled holy water all over.

I did it. Nobody died in my house but I was sad to see that the little old man we bought it from passed away back in 2009. So sad.

OMG Aliens scare the s*** outta me too! My ice cream man as a kid told all of us kids about how he got abducted and years later as a teen I saw him on that show sightings. NOT COOL!!!

No one died but I sometimes feel like we do have one. But i think it's dhs parents who lived a few houses down.
What's weird is that it is listing my friend as a previous person on this address.
