Prenatal Vitamins all of a sudden making you sick?
I take Rite Aid brand prenatals with the extra DHA as a 2nd pill. Every day since I starting taking them during the summer I've taken them after eating lunch. The last 2 days, I haven't been able to keep down my lunch. Can the prenatals all of a sudden have this effect on me? I'm 14 weeks along

Yup. I rarely took them the first time around b/c they made me so sick.

I found the gummy ones don't make me sick.. when i was on the pills though if I didn't eat something when them they would make me queasy.

Yes! I took the same brand every day for the first 10 weeks, and then one night, out of the blue, I felt so sick from the fishy aftertaste of the DHA I thought I was going to throw up. It was so gross.
Ah pregnancy, every day is an adventure...

I take Citranatal and they do make me queasy if I take them on a empty stomach so I take them at night instead of the morning.

Prenatal Vitamins all of a sudden making you sick?
When mine made me sick my OB said to take them at night.
But try one where the DHA isn't a separate pill. I couldn't even take that TTC without throwing up.

I take mine (gummies) before bed bc of what happened last pregnancy and I woke up last night so queasy.

Yes towards the end. I stopped taking them. Even taking at night didn't help.

I find that the only way they don't make me sick is if I take them while I'm eating.

That's what I was finding too. That as long as I took them after I ate, I was fine. But yesterday and Thursday, I lost my lunch after taking them. I didn't take them today. Tomorrow I'm going to try to just take the vitamin with dinner and maybe take the DHA right before bed. See what happens. Thanks ladies
