Renting boys communion suit?
When my son was making his communion, I actually bought his suit on Ebay. He was a perfect 8 and it fit to a tee. I bought a pair of shoes from Payless. The suit cost me $18 and the shoes $12.99. I just cannot fathom spending a lot of money for one day.

I would check kids consignment stores.
Cow Harbor Kids in Northport always has seasonal items for Halloween, Communions, etc. I'd call and see if they have them yet.

Renting boys communion suit?
The local tailor by us does a communion package..It's 89.95 for the whole suit, shirt, tie, arm band, etc. (Center Moriches)
I cant tell you how many times I have used pieces to the suit after (school concerts, holidays etc.) You can always use some navy slacks, a suit jacket, a white dress shirt etc. Then when your done pass it down or sell.

Re: Renting boys communion suit?
I looked into this last year for my son. I didn't want to spend the money on something he wore just 1 time.
But for the same price of renting, we went to K&G in Farmingdale and bought him a suit for the same amount of money and had it altered by our local cleaners. I got his dress shirt from Walmart and his shows from Payless. He stayed in his suit all day - he looked so handsome!!

I think you're better off borrowing or looking into children's thrift stores. I got mine from someone on FB for $12.00.
