heated wood floors or under cabinet heat??

we are re-doing our kitchen. we are looking at two potential heating options. Hoping somebody had experience with either of these two:

(1) heated wood floors - pros/cons

(2) heating under cabinet by toe-kick - pros/cons


we are not doing a tile floor

I would totally do the heated wood floors - I wish we had. We have one toe kick heater and it is loud. It needs to blow the air out to work. A friend of mine had heated floors put in her whole house (doing repairs from Sandy) and she loves them. Says the house is so warm and there are no cold spots.

I have heated floors, they are tile not wood, however I love them. They do heat up the house nicely.

We put carpet in our den since it is downstairs and are looking to replace it with heated wood floors instead.

I did a few toe kicks in my house because I lost space when knocked walls down. I absolutely hate them. They are very loud.

I have a toe kick in my kitchen and the blower is so loud. It works good but the sound annoys me.
