Probably stupid question about iTunes
I got a new laptop/tablet (Dell). I downloaded iTunes and logged in. It looks like all my music is available to play from the cloud. Is there ever a need to plug in my iPhone to this new computer? Or is syncing a thing of the past? Lol. (I'm no sure if I've ever synced this phone to my old laptop either, since that one is OLD and I've hardly used it recently.)
ETa: I've noticed songs that I uploaded to iTunes from CDs (I'm old!) aren't there. Is there an easy way to get them? Example, Maroon 5, Songs About Jane. The album is on my phone. But apparently not in my cloud.

I would plug the phone in just so you have a hard backup on your laptop.
