$239 a night I think. I'll double check when I get up. I have it written down.
If your delivering at Southside take the free L&D / child care class. They go over all kinds of stuff, which is where I got this number. They talk about the L&D parking, access to the area, the set up, etc. Plus labor and c-section basics. It was really informative and there's a tour at the end,

There's also a free breast feeding class with the hospitals lactation consultant. DH and I went Tuesday night. I learned a lot.

Ok that sounds very close to what we paid last time. I have delivered there twice already and i wouldnt ever want to go anywhere else

I think I paid $220 a night 4 years ago.
I'm sure it has gone up a bit since then.
Worth every single red cent!

Does anyone know if you have to take the L&D/Child Care Class? I took this when I delivered at Good Sam because I was told that we had to take it so we could get the C-Section certification.

Im delivering at SS this time. Never took tour at GS or classes last time b/c I was on bedrest. They didn't deny me my CS. I'll probably do a tour if I can this time.

You don't have to take it. But its free and only about 2.5 hours with the tour, and we had a big group. The teacher is fabulous and the class was really good and had a lot of info about how Southside operates. Like L&D parking, accessing the L&D area, etc. Plus she is the lactation consultant (the teacher) so its a good chance to meet her before hand if you are going to use her.
