I live in GH. Been here since 2010. Great area, we have lovely neighbors- with young kids. My girls start kindergarten in the fall. North Shore school district has an excellent reputation.

Nice schools. Lovely area but it's a bit of a drive to expressways and if you commute to the city, the trains don't run very frequently. You also transfer at Jamaica. I used to always get pissed off on my way home from work because the train would get me home late.

You'll love the area. My parents are in Sea Cliff, but right by the middle school and HS, so pretty much Glen Head too. Schools are great as is the town.

I grew up in Glen Head. Went to school from nursery to high school. I absolutely love where I grew up. The ONLY thing I will warn you about is that there was (and still is from what my friends and family in the area tell me) heavy drug use in the high school. It is like that in a lot of LI towns though, so I don't think it is unique to NS.
