vanderbilt planetarium party?

Has anyone hosted a party or been to a party here recently? Just looking for info on pricing, what you do there during a party, was it good??

Looking for places for my son't bday - he is turning 7 and loves outer space. TIA!!!

I was curious about this as well. it's seems like it would be an awesome idea for a party, but they aren't very descriptive on the website.

We did it years ago. We saw a show & they ran around a bit.

If nothing has changed, they have 2 party rooms. One is pretty small but has a door that opens to the courtyard. We had beautiful weather so that was the better option.

I had cupcakes with just silver balls on it & an American Flag in the middle like a space/moon landing kind of thing.

For favors I bought astronaut ice cream (which tastes like crap but every kid wanted to try it so it worked for them.) from an online vendor.

Thank you for your replies. I talked to someone today from the museum and she said it is $225 - this includes 20 tickets for the 45 minute show and a room to use for food, etc. Extra tickets are $5 each, and there is a 32 kid max. You provide everyrthing else - decorations, paper goods, food, dessert, etc. I am not sure if the show would be private or if you are in there with other people.
