Crinone
Has anyone been on Crinone? My dr just prescribed this to me. She told me to start using it 2 days after I ovulate. When I picked it up from the pharmacy the instructions were to start 2 days prior to ovulation. I left a message for my dr's office, but just curious if anyone has any experience.
**Update*** Yes, it's 2 days after ovulation.

Crinone
Always used it after IUI or IVF transfer, which is after ovulation. Listen to your dr.
Clean yourself out now and then. It will safe you some major discomfort, but it's gross.

Haha it's definitely gross but don't get freaked out!!! What happens is the med gets absorbed into your wall and the leftover stuff clumps up and actually looks like cottage cheese (I know super gross!). So every day in the shower before I put the new crinone in I would literally put my finger up there and take the clumps out! If you don't clean it out often then it can get really really gross! Also the clumps are usually white but don't be alarmed if the clumps come out colored like salmon, brown, even grey or black!! It's just your body reacting and sometimes the walls get irritated a little bit! Good luck!!

Yes if you don't clean yourself out you could get very bad itching and maybe even a yeast infection. FYI you may get itching anyhow. I was on it over a month and twice a had intense itching for a few days but then it went away. You may also want to wear a panty liner as sometimes it came out on its own. And cottage cheese is about right. It's not the most pleasant thing and I was super happy when they said I was done with it, but it was worth it!
