Zipadee Zips?
Anyone know - can they still learn to self-soothe with their hands if they are in this? I was thinking of getting a medium for my almost 5 month old twins. They've been out of swaddle for awhile now -but get frustrated with their arms, etc.

Zipadee Zips?
I was recommended these, but DS does great with just the sleep sack/swaddle sack. He never had his arms/hands swaddled except in the NICU. He HATED having his arms swaddled from the second we got home. If I swaddled them, he'd get free, so I just didn't bother anymore. The sacks work great for him, he's loving them and is free to move around the crib, he's been STTN the last few weeks, this week hitting about 10/11 hours the last few nights (I have NO idea how).
ETA: DS is turning 4 months next Saturday.

Re: Zipadee Zips?
The creators sell this item on the premise that it is designed to help a newborn fall back asleep after a jolt wakes them. In the womb, when a baby suddenly jolts, there is resistance so they can't stretch. This new freedom outside the womb is what wakes them and keeps them from feeling comfortable. the zipadee zip when a jolts occurs provides the baby with the resistance they are used to, therefore not fully waking them so they can fall back asleep.
(Watched this a few times on shark tank.) I bought one of these for my DD at around 4-5 months and my DD didn't sleep as well. The miracle blanket was better for my DD. I feel like with the zipadee zip you would have to start with it pretty soon after birth to have the best results.

Zipadee Zips?
DS loves his zippy. I started him in a small at about 3 months when he started rolling over. I moved up the medium at about 6 months. It really is just like a blanket covering the hands and feet. DS bites his hands in them and can totally self soothe. Now that he's 8.5 months he is able to pull himself up to stand in it and he can crawl in it. I swear by the zippy and would recommend it to everyone.
