Recommend your hair dryer...mine kicked the bucket last night
I've never been one to spend a ton of money on my blow dryers. I usually get the drug store ones. They last about a year and then conk out. My John Frieda dryer died mid-blow dry last night and I'm in need of a new one. I'm willing to stretch and spend a little more this time because I'd like something that makes my hair shine and not look dried and frizzy after I dry it. Recommend your hair dryer please!

IMO the drug store ones are just as good. I have a conair I have had for 5 years and it works as good as the day I bought it. I have very curly hair and straighten it every other day so it def gets a workout.

I agree with the above to the extent that yes, my drugstore blow dryers have always lasted a long time. But after getting the Rusk Speed Freak, I realized what a difference the right blow dryer can make in how my hair looks and feels. I would definitely recommend it!

i have the rusk speed freak. it was a bday gift from a friend.
i highly recommend you purchase your dryer at BBB. I purchased babybliss travel 3-4 times ( i lost track) and it stopped working after 1 blow dry) so i kept exchanging for a new one.i didnt learn my lesson the 1st few times because i REALLY wanted that dryer to last because its TINY and soooo light weight. BBB return polcy is great!
so yes, buy at BBB and if they break, return them

I love my Rusk Speed Freak too. There was a definite difference after using this compared to my Conair.

I was replacing Conair hair dryers every six months. I bought an Elchim 7-8 years ago after reading about them on here. It is still going strong. Granted, I cut off my long hair a few years ago but still, even before then, the Elchim outlasted any other hair dryer and I do still have a lot of hair.

BaByliss Pro Ceramix Xtreme.....LOVE IT!!!!
This is what I ended up getting! I used it last night and LOVE it so far. It made a world of a difference in my hair. It looked shiny, smooth, and took half the time to dry. And best of all..my hair didn't smell burnt afterwards. With my old dryer my hair literally smelled burnt when I dried it.
