NYC Half March 15th
Is anyone else doing this half? I have had such a tough time training for this since it has been so cold out. The weather normally dosent bother me but I cannot go out when it is under 20 degrees. I have mostly been running on treadmill and have not done a run over 10 miles in 3 weeks. I am hoping to get in a 11 or 12 this weekend. This will def be my slowest half ever!

I'm doing it! Also doing the More Half on 4/19.
I've been trying to do long runs outside when possible, but tonight had to do 9 on the treadmill and it was sooooo boring. I just hope it's decent weather during the half. Last year I heard it was sooooo cold.

Im so undertrained this year bc I wont do treadmills runs and the ice has been tough. Did 9.5 yesterday and hope to do 10 on Sunday and just figuring on a very slow race!

I made it in the lottery but my dc have the following Tuesday off for St. Patricks day and I think we are going to take a long weekend and go skiing. I hate to miss it though- anyone know if you are allowed to defer for next year?? I will definitely be doing the More Half in April though.

Yes - I think I remember reading you can defer it. I was surprised because I think that is new, and I will be taking advantage of it because I am just not even close to being ready.
