Never should have went into puppy store ..

I never go to mall but ran in quick with my little guy. He's in love with puppies and jetted right into the puppy store at the Smithhaven mall. I went in with him and wanted to leave ASAP, but I had some urge to see these dogs and if they were ok. Like you wanna see if they are ok but you don't want to get upset.

I should have left. I was sick all day after being in there.

I would say 98 percent of the puppies were not acting right. Lethargic. Red eyes. Napping. Pups are usually energetic and joyful.

Then I saw my favorite dogs .. Three little bulldogs ... In a glass tank, no water, one with red eyes, shit everywhere and laying on a white towel, also with shit on it.

Just so bummed after being in there. Something isn't right with that place especially.

Just had to vent.

I was tempted but I feel like I looked so upset and I felt like the girl working there was watching me. I wonder if I would have gotten in trouble for snapping a pic. I didn't see any signs stating I couldn't.

Can stuff like that be reported somewhere?

My son always goes into the store and so I make it a teaching experience. I direct any and all statements to my son. Never once has anyone said anything to me.

Andy did you know that this place gets all their puppies from puppy mills?

Andy did you know that these poor little puppies never get to know their mommies?

Andy did you know that these puppies' mommies are stuck in a cage somewhere and never get to play fetch?

Andy it is important that we NEVER buy a puppy from a puppy store.....

Andy did you know that this place gets all their puppies from puppy mills?

I got yelled at in a puppy store. Dh and I were talking quite loudly about the puppy mill puppies and of course one of the sales people were like we don't get our puppies from puppy mills, blah, blah, blah. I replied whatever you have to tell yourself to sleep at night.
