Thank you for Neighbor
We just moved into a new house a few months ago. A neighbor who we have yet to meet cleared our driveway today while DH and I were at work. I was thinking of getting him a little something to say thank you but not sure what. Any ideas?

Thank you for Neighbor
My neighbors always clear our driveway this winter I got them a gift card to a local eatery that I know they like, I baked them muffins( if it were someone I didn't know I probably would have bought them a bakery cake), I gave them wine( I know they drink), tomorrow I'm going to get potted spring flowers for them for clearing it today. I think anything as a thank you is nice, you got lucky with a great new neighbor!

Re: Thank you for Neighbor
We sent a tub of popcorn from the popcorn factory to a neighbor who's been clearing our snow with his snowblower! He's got three girls of varying ages, so I figured that was a perfect all-age-can-enjoy treat.

Re: Thank you for Neighbor
Our neighbor was nice enough to clear our driveway when DH and I were in the city for a night when it snowed. The next day I dropped off 6 nicely decorated cupcakes from a nearby bakery. He has 2 young kids so I figured they could all enjoy it.

Baked goods & a filled gas can!
Our neighbor gave us beer and and a filled gas can when we let them use our generator during Sandy.
When they helped me one day with an emergency I got them a gift card to a local restaurant.
I like the Spring Flowers Idea too especially since this winter has been so dragged out.
I personally wouldn't bake them anything. you never know about allergies, what people like, etc.

Re: Thank you for Neighbor
I would send over a little edible arrangement.
Or maybe bake something really nice with a card.
Or go to a good bakery and get some pastries and bring them over with a card.
Something like that.
