Bare Minerals looking cakey under eyes?
I mostly like Bare Minerals but I notice that it doesn't look right under my eyes. I don't have major issues with dark circles but I like to put a little something there to brighten it up a bit. The bare minerals looks weird and cakey, totally unnatural.
Does anyone else have this issue or a suggestion on what to do about it? Thanks!

Re: Bare Minerals looking cakey under eyes?
I don't use Bare Minerals, but I use Mac. When I was doing a whole make up tutorial with a guy that worked there he said never use powder under the eye bc it can look cakey. I bought a concealer. I forgot what it is, but had two sides. One to brighten and one to conceal. Works great and just pat it in.

That makes sense because it definitely doesn't look right! I'm going to have to buy something for under eyes.

I noticed when I used the bare minerals I used their concealer but definitely needed to use moisturizer under the eyes and an under eye primer, the concealer applied much better that way

Re: Bare Minerals looking cakey under eyes?
Yes. Do a concealer and keep any powder away from that area.
Do a liquid concealer - I love MAC's - and the biggest thing, to me, is the BRUSH. Buy a good MAC brush with it to apply it. Sometimes then I use my pinky to dab it but to apply it, the brush makes a world of difference :) :)
