NYC Half - How did everyone do?
Conditions ended up being pretty near perfect (in my opinion) and I finished in 2:07 which was a PR for me! This was my 3rd time running this half, and I still get so excited running through Times Square.
Next up, the MORE half on 4/19. Anyone else doing that?

NYC Half - How did everyone do?
I finished in 2:05. Still just missing that sub 2 goal. It was nice conditions. And it was a course PR for me by more then 4 minutes so I can't find,Qin too much.
Running the queens half next week. Trying to stick to Saturday races so I don't have to find coverage at work (I do group fitness/personal training on Sunday's) so I think I'm out for the More half. Any other Saturday races you know of coming up?

The mini-10k is a Saturday race. It's on 6/13. One clockwise loop of cental park, but the first mile is out of the park, Central Park West. I do it every year bc I like the fact that it starts on the road - change in scenery!

Re: NYC Half - How did everyone do?
Congrats girls!
Just curious...I can not run a marathon due to a back surgery I had....it was always on my bucket list. I can do halves without any issues...would this be a good substitute for the NYC marathon? thanks!

Re: NYC Half - How did everyone do?
If you can never do the full, then you should definitely do this half. I've run it 3x, so can attest that it really is a fun race. While you don't get the crowds like you do for the full, it is pretty amazing running through Times Square and the Battery Tunnel. I did the full this past November and was a bit worried that I'd be let down with this half, but I still enjoyed this race tremendously. It also is big - 20,000 started this year!
