Just wanted to share...
Since I posted a bit about the stress of the CPSE process and the trials of trying to get my triplet boys (two typical, one with mild CP) into the same integrated preschool program, I wanted to update and say that I finally had my meeting and am so thrilled that my three boys will be attending Brookville Marcus Avenue next year, M-F 830-230. What WILL this triplet mom do with herself with all that free time?! My head is spinning at the prospect of all that free time, but we are so happy - with absolutely no fight my son received the max services for PT, OT and even more than the max for speech. They even offer music therapy to all one hour/week. The school has a gym with an adaptive phys ED teacher, a sensory gym, a totally contained outdoor playground, smart boards in every room, etc. I am just so happy that it all worked out and that my boys will be going to the same great school next year TOGETHER. My advice to anyone is start early - even if you can't formally start the district process early, research and even tour schools yourself beforehand.
