Speaking of Siri.....
I was just mentioning Siri in another thread and it got me thinking, does anyone actually use Siri? I NEVER EVER EVER use it. Does anyone, and if you do, for what?

Pretty much except DD is 12m and just likes to hold down the home button to activate the noise.

Speaking of Siri.....
Us too. DD is the only one that uses it and it is basically just to make it say funny answers. Occasionally you hear her arguing with Siri lol. Her new fascination is to try to make Siri talk to Cortano (window's phone).

Siri never understands my requests, so no.
I have an aunt who only uses Siri though.

Speaking of Siri.....
Siri doesn't understand my voice. I get random answers to questions I ask her while driving, like, "Where is the nearest diner to the LIE?" Once she gave me a restaurant in Japan. Another time I was given one in Wyoming. Neither are places I have ever been to. It does make me laugh.
She has a temper and I have been scolded by her, which was an odd experience. I'd gotten frustrated and said something rude to her and she called me on it. LOL

Re: Speaking of Siri.....
I have used it occasionally, but frankly, I prefer using google as it end up being faster. Suri does not always understand me the first time I say things.

Same here with my 13 month old son. He loves to babble to her and push the button w/ his little thumb.

Re: Speaking of Siri.....
I never think to use it. My DH does all the time though. It is pretty easy to click the home button and say "Set my alarm for 6:00 AM" or "Where is the nearest subway station?"

Re: Speaking of Siri.....
The only action Siri sees on my phone is from my 15 month pushing the button over and over

Speaking of Siri.....
I hate Siri! Its so unhelpful! I prefer Google "Ok Google" But my daughter will talk to it. She knows how it will answer to "Knock Knock" but she does it anyway.

Speaking of Siri.....
I only use it to make calls through my headset or to set alarms/reminders.
My DH uses it all the time, but needs to repeat himself half a dozen times.

Re: Speaking of Siri.....
When I'm really bored I turn on Siri and let her have it. She is so non-confrontational though. Which leaves me totally frustrated. Fight back b!tch!!

I have had her fight back. She is capable of it. I had to apologize, which she accepted.

All the time actually. I am on the road for work and Siri will read my emails and I use it to make calls, send texts without typing, etc.

I never knew it could be used to read emails!! I will have to look into this.
I only use it to have it call people for me and that's it.
DH uses it more often and loves to mess with and see what it comes up with it.
the other day I was out and apparently him and DD used it on my Ipad to ask it about farts

Every time I try to use Siri it never registers what I say correctly and it's just frustrating.
