Need some advice
About a year ago, DH and I were adopted by an outside cat that we named Tater Tot. We started feeding him and he has come to our house twice a day since. This has happened once before with us and we were able to trap and neuter that cat successfully although that cat eventually passed. This one, not so much, he wouldn't go near the trap. Anyway, last night, he was in his igloo house and acting strange, he was eating but wouldn't come out. I thought he was hurt but to our surprise, we woke up this morning and went to check on him and our dear Tater is actually a she and now has 3 kittens. They are tiny tiny so she must have had them last night. I just don't know the proper action to take. I don't want to put any additional stress on mama cat but I also don't want these kittens to be harmed in anyway. Does anyone know of any rescue groups that would maybe take the mom and kittens?
I myself have have a dog and indoor cat and am due to have our first baby in less than 2 weeks so me taking them in isn't an option. I do want to do what is best for these poor things though, even if I have to pay for it. Any ideas?

Bobby and the Strays? I don't have experience with this group but have heard the name mentioned several times. You can also call your vet's office if they have any recommendations.

Try talking to Bobbi & the Strays and Courageous Cats of Long Island.
Even if they can't take them, you could ask for some advice about the situation.

Re: Need some advice
Thank you both for your replies. I called a bunch of rescues and the only one that got back to me was Guardians of Rescue. They gave me some great advice and told me they wont do anything until the kittens are 8 weeks. They told me if I can keep an eye on them and take care of mama, they will come in 8 weeks to take the kittens and mom, fix them and try to get them adopted out.
