For those that color often for grays! special event coming up need advice!
I find I have grays peeking through after a week!! I try and wait 3 weeks unless I have a big event. Well I do, I am getting married. I am getting married on a sunday. I was told from others that it should settle a week, But if I do it the Saturday before I may have some grays peeking through. If I do it that Tuesday or Wed is that to close? Its just my roots, same color as the rest of my hair.
Another issue is twice when I had my period color didn't take. I am due the Tues or Wed before the sunday wedding. And she doesn't work Wed unless I ask for special request. Or do it the sunday before and pick the few grays with a tweezer?
BTW at first I thought it was the dye that the gray peeked through after a week. I tried 3 other salons, same thing!

I see no problem with doing it Tuesday (5 days before your wedding). It's not like you're drastically changing color, just covering greys. That's what I would do. I think that's perfect amount of time and hopefully you won't have any peeking through just yet. Congrats!

Wait, hair dye doesn't work when you're on your period? I have never heard of that!

Not for everyone andnot all the time with me. Sometimes it does and 3 times it did not.
