Help motivate me to workout at home!

I have been in a good gym routine and I'm seeing results
I need motivation at home!!!

I have 3 kids 4 years and under and I work 4 days a week.

I constantly find something else to do....not
Because i don't want to work out but because in my mind stuff needs to be done

I don't really have an entire room to dedicate to a "home gym" but I have some
Space I can use.

Do you hang up "work outs" to follow or have a binder full of ideas?

How do you let other things go so you can workout?

Help motivate me to workout at home!

It's hard to do at home. Is it possible to get one ,ore gym day on. I find there is always an "excuse" or something that pops up at home. If you have time, like when all the little ones are napping or something, then make an appointment with yourself and get it done. With nice weather coming you apcan take walks or play outside with the kids and that can be exercise. Or my biggest advice for clue to when they need more time at home is to wake up ten minutes earlier. Do Burpees, they are quiet and won't wale sleeping kids, push ups, sit ups, squats, etc. I even tell people to hold a squat position while brushing their teeth or do lunges, sit-ups, push-ups, squats during commercials whole watching tv at night. Every little bit helps and counts.

Good luck.

I HATE working out at home. It's just not for me. I need to see other people working out to motivate me and it gets me out of the house.

Re: Help motivate me to workout at home!

I have never belonged to a gym lol I started with Jillian Michaels 30 day shred and then moved onto her other workouts. I plateaued so I moved onto fitnessblender.com which is free online workouts. Then I got bored and have been on a beach body kick. I like that they have a set schedule. I finished T25 and am almost done with Insanity.
I have 3 kids and I workout 6 days a week. It is my time. yes the kids are there but I give them a snack and a drink and gate them in the room I'm working out in. This way I can watch everyone and get my workout in. Yes there are 50 billion other things I could be doing instead but my health is important to me so I had to make time. If I feel good I am a happier mommy lol happy mommy happy kids lol

I like the get up 10 minutes early. I can try that!
I need to make more of an effort of making every little bit of down time work.

Right now I'm away at the inlaws and I have more time but they give me grief when I say I'm going to workout ...it's so irritating g o d forbid someone breaks a sweat!

I have to make more of an effort to try when they are awake! Warmer weather I am better because I'll run with the triple stroller

Help motivate me to workout at home!

I don't belong to the gym anymore because I just can't motivate myself to go work out when DH gets home from work or after the kids go to bed so I am doing the Jillian Michele's totL body revolution at home. Move been doing it on and off for almost two years now but this time I am actually almost up to week 12. I usually only make it to 7 then take a week off for some reason or another and never get back Into it. Really finding motivation to work out at home for me is SO hard. I have to literally force myself to do it. I am home with the kids all day so I just ask them to go In the playroom and they run back and forth from the livingroom where I work out to the playroom. It's only 30 minutes and sometimes I have to take a break to help one of the kids but once I start the workout and get into it I am pretty motivated to finish. It's hard but for me I just have to force myself to do it and I get I to it.

I cant work out at home either. My best workouts were in classes or better yet with a trainer... they are great motivators and you never have to think about counting etc.. the worst part of working out for me

Re: Help motivate me to workout at home!

The only thing that has worked for me so far was the 21 day fix. I only had to commit for 21 days at a time, and I knew it was only going to take 30 minutes a day so I would either wake up early or wait until the kids went to bed. And I saw great results so I stayed motivated because I knew I was making progress.
