what can i do???
so we have looked all over the island (as you can see from my previous posts lol) but we keep going back to this one development. we are in LOVE with everything about it.
problem is, there are no houses for sale right now. is there anything i can do to find out if someone plans on listing? its a pretty big development so there has to be someone who is thinking of listing in the next month or so.
can my realtor send a mailing to the houses that meet our criteria? can we go for a walk in the neighborhood and talk to people (or will we come off creepy lol)
we just know this is where we want to be! i dont want to close on another house and then all of a sudden a house pops up for sale in the development.

what can i do???
Realtors sometimes send out canvasing post cards, I receive one now and then. Do you have a realtor that works in that development/area?

my brother and SIL found their house by leaving flyers in the mailboxes in the houses in the development they were interested in

I did a mailing client awhile ago for a buyer client who wanted to buy a one bedroom unit in a specific, small condo development in Levittown. There were only two bedrooms, that were too prices, on the market.
I sent a letter explaining what my client was looking for and asking if anyone was considering selling. I did find someone who was thinking of selling and my buyer bought the condo!
Your real estate agent won't mind doing the mailing as she can only gain from it. Even if she doesn't find you a house there, she will get her name out to that community and perhaps get future business.

My ILs have bought houses this way as well.

My ILs have bought houses this way as well.
what did they put in their fliers?
im going to ask my realtor if they have some letter already in their system that they can mail out so i dont look creepy haha
