RE questions.. (GHI)
Have LOTS of questions!!
1. Do RE's agree to do testing and whatnot prior to you trying for a full year? I have been trying since September, got pregnant 6 months later and miscarried. Have tried twice since then with no luck. Would like to seek guidance, but I'm afraid that I will be turned away due to the fact that I have gotten pregnant once.
2. What tests do they initially do?
3. GHI specific question: Are IUIs covered by insurance, or do you pay alot out of pocket?
Thank you all!

The only thing I can answer on this is #3.
You have to call your insurance itself and find out. They'll be able to tell you what is covered and whats not. Each insurance plan has their own specific benefits. Also find out what the in network and out of network rates would be and ask for in network doctors within your area. In network rates are usually less expensive in regards to out of pocket costs.

RE questions.. (GHI)
If your insurance makes you wait a year, then just say you have been trying for a year. I don't think the Re cares

RE questions.. (GHI)
Question 1... Make an apt and talk to them, it will not hurt. I dont think they will send you away. They will most likely run a series of blood work. You can always say you have been trying for longer than you have been. Worse case they do nothing and you pay a co-pay
#2. they will test everything under the sun and most likely your DH too
#3. call your insurance company
Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!

Yes you can always lie to them, but in all honesty that's not really a long time of TTC (it may seem long).
I guess it doesn't hurt to try the RE for them to run a series of test. Good Luck!
