Recommend your hair treatment

I went to a salon in FL just to get a blowdry and my hair has never been the same. I don't know what she used on my hair, but my hair has been so dry and falling like crazy.
Also on the hunt for new shampoo and conditioner. Any recommendations?

I love the Pureology line, they have one called Strength Cure and one called Hydrate and they are both really good (shampoo and conditioner)
they also have treatments in that line that really helped my dry curly hair. Ulta carries a huge line of them

You are the second person to recommend this. Reason why I haven't bought it is because it's so expensive. $64 for just the shampoo Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

$64?? are you looking at the huge size? I would never spend that much!! Check Ulta, they have small sizes that are so much less. Also go on Ulat website and print a coupon

Try the Organix brand too, they have one that is coconut milk that works really well and an argon oil one that I used to love.

Get yourself a good moisturizing shampoo an conditioner - I love LOreal's products.

Also, do a deep conditioning treatment.
LOreal again has good products, but coconut oil works well too

Comb it through, wrap your hair in a hot towel, put a plastic bag or wrap over it to keep the heat in and let it sit for 20 minutes.

Neem oil. Get the stuff specifically for hair. You can find it in south asian grocery stores.

Just an FYI kirkland brand (costco) shampoo is made by pureology and is less than $8 for a huge 33 Oz bottle. Its amazing stuff.

Re: Recommend your hair treatment

I use coconut oil in my hair about once a week. Before I shower I put on a good coating of the oil and comb it through and wrap in a shower cap. I let it sit for about an hour or so. Then wash it was gentle shampoo (usually California Baby shampoo).

I do this at night and usually when I have nothing going on the next day or can wear it up because it tends to be flat the next day.

During the week I wash/condition my hair at night, lately have been using the Suave Keratin Line and like it. After I get out of the shower I put a good amount of the conditioner back in my hair and comb it through. I leave it overnight and rinse in the morning.

This routine has helped my hair TREMENDOUSLY. My hair is dry to begin with and then was terribly damaged from coloring. I still color it but since starting this routine it is so much healthier and has grown so fast.

Omg I love the Kirkland shampoo!!! Amazing! My hair is so soft after I use it and the bonus is cheap.
