Need a gift for newborm
This is the second girl in two years for this family. They have everything they could possibly need. When I asked what they would like me to buy the new baby I was told a nice Keepsake. I would love any ideas you may have. I know some families buy something gold but not in this case.

Also, I was given a SOFT stroller blanket from PBK with his name embroidered -- Julian Kenneth -- you could also add the birth date below that. Anyway, to this day, almost two years later, I have used that thing everyday - he sleeps with it, we use it in his stroller, when he was a baby I wrapped him in it, etc. It is so soft, so beautiful and a nice pale blue color. They have a beautiful soft pink for girls. Check out PBK's website. I would link it but it is blocked at work. On the site it is listed as: "Chamois Stroller Blanket"
Also on that site they have an adorable wooden block -- listed under the keepsakes section -- and it is a little cube that you can have carved with the child's name, the date, the weight, proud parents names, etc. I was given this too and it is adorable - is on a shelf in my son's room. Under the same section, they have a pewter baby rattle that can be engraved. There are tons of beautiful items on the PBK website under that section.

ETA - I almost forgot about the Tiffany & Co. classic piggy bank in white porcelain with either soft pink or blue polka dots... One of my fave keepsakes to this day that someone gave to Julian. Always on display in his room. A classic.

I was going to suggest the Tiffany piggy bank too, but not sure what your price range is.
Anything personalized is good - I love this frame

Anything personalized... or maybe a scrapbook w/ scrapbook paper, etc.. DH's cousin gave us this when DS was born and we put all his first pics of him in it.

Thank you all very much. Blankets won't work because the grandmother knits and crochets and had made several. I will check the other suggestions. Is there anything that may be appropriate for "big sister" as well as "little sister" since we also need to cater to the older one as well. Price is not an issue.
