Vbac , NO EPI, AND ITS A GIRL !!!
I got my vbac :) just wanted to share my birth story bc I know how helpful it was for me to read success stories.
Background my first pregnancy ended in a section bc my son was measuring 10.6 on due date. No other reason. I went into labor on my own was 4cm dilated and 100 % effaced so a great candidate for vbac.
This pregnancy I knew I wanted to try for a vbac. I told all my drs in the practice at every other visit so there would be no confusion. I had a great pregnancy with no issues. I had a back up c section booked for april 15th ..6 days after due date. The night before my scheduled c section I cancelled and dr. Agreed I could go to 42 weeks. The night of my c section date I went into labor at 1am , I woke up to my 1st contraction at 41 weeks. They soon became 2 min apart for an hour very quickly. I got to the hospital and was 3cm , I walked the hall ways for about an hour, the contractions became more intense I got checked at 6am and was 4cm.... I asked for epidural and in the process of starting IV my contractions became much more intense at approx 645am they checked me and I was fully dilated. I went from 4cm to fully dilated in less than hour... it was nuts everyone came running in room and they convinced me not to get an epidural bc baby's head was right there. Dr got into room and could not believe it , i pushed approx 6 or 7 times in 20 min and Miss Siena Spring was born 8lbs 14oz 20.5 inches At 7:28am ...My dr, the nurses , and resident were so excited saying : no epidural , VBAC and almost 9lbs. Congratulations again! Such an amazing story!!! Where did you deliver? I would love to be able to vbac if we're lucky enough to have a 2nd.

Yay! Congratulations, she's gorgeous!!!! Congrats on the VBAC too. I had a VBAC with my 8lb 10oz DS and it was an amazing experience. Glad you got what you wanted :)

Congrats! She is beautiful! I had to have a c-section so it's great to hear a successful VBAC story
