Frustrated ... losing reward money NY & Co

So, I finally get a chance to do some shopping for Spring/Summer the other day. I pick out some clothes at NY & Co and when I look through my coupon book I realize I have 2 $20 rewards, but expired end of February so couldn't use it.

I hate when that happens! I get the rewards, but by the time I realize it's time for some new clothes or even get a chance to get out of the house between work, kids, etc they expire. This happens all the time. I wish they had it on the card automatically.

I am the only one who winds up losing money this way? Ugh! I get the rewards shopping so much at a certain time, get the rewards and then don't need clothes or anything right away.

Sorry... just venting. I know it's not a big deal, but annoying.

That is very annoying. Can you call up Customer Service to see if they can do anything. I work for Old Navy we can't take the expired rewards but if you call the Old Navy Customer service they use to re issue the rewards. Not sure if they still do.

My way around that (even if it's frowned upon) is I set a reminder in my phone within a few days of expiration and make sure I buy something with it. Anything. This way, I can return the stuff the day I really plan on shopping.

A little shady, but ya know what? I'm not a fan of throwing money away bc time got away from me.
