What flat iron for curly coarse hair?
I think I would like to have one around. Which one should I get? Recommendations from hello curlies will be appreciated!

did you ever think of doing the keratin treatment? I do it and its life changing for me
I am too scared!! :( what if it straightens my hair completely? Or messes it up?

I haven't straightened my hair in a LONG time, but have this one: Croc iron
It is really fantastic and makes such a difference after using the $50 ones I would pick up randomly that would just fry my hair.
On a side note, if you do like to wear your hair curly, I would recommend against keratin or brazilian straightening. I did it a few times, and it was great while it was straight or wavy! But once it "wore off" it took forever to get my hair back to a healthy state where it would actually look good curly. If you are straightening your hair a few times a week it is probably a great idea, but the grow out process was just blegh for me.

I had the same results with Keratin. It took over a year before I saw any of my curls again. I don't wear my hair curly often but I like to have the option.

Thank you, ladies, for your honest reviews! That's exactly why I am not getting keratin!   But having a flat iron around the house can't hurt!

I had the opposite effect my hair won't take to the keratin, only last 2 months. I tried a few different places followed the after care exactly. I wish it would last a year

mines lasts about 6 months and then all the curls are back like before
