RIBS???

How do I pre-cook these before grilling- I don't want them to take 40 minutes on the grill.
Thanks
I was thinking of using the crockpot???

Re: RIBS???

We boil ours for a bit. Same for Chicken on the bone.

Otherwise slow grilling ribs are awesome ... but they take like 3 hours! Chat Icon

Re: RIBS???

My mom slow cooks hers for about 5 hours at 200 degrees and then runs them over the BBQ. She bastes them with Jack Daniels mixed with homemade BBQ sauce.... they are AMAZING

Re: RIBS???

Alton Brown has an AMAZING rib recipe---although it is VERY time consuming!! You can probably find it on foodnetwork.com.

Re: RIBS???

My DH has a great recipe for Ribs. They fall off the bone - they are so yummy.

I know that he bakes them in the over first (broils them?) then he marinades them in BBQ sauce. He puts it in the crockpot for HOURS. They are so delicious. Soooo Soooo soooo good.

Re: RIBS???

Thanks everyone- I just boiled them in beer and water and then we are throwing them on the grill. I am using Jack Daniels sauce mixed with homemade sauce.
