adoption process?
My husband and I are seriously considering adoption but we are having trouble getting started. We've called the nyc adoption agency but they haven't gotten back to us. How should we start the process?

HI there! I am in the early phases, we are having our home study on friday.....we have an attorney, a social worker and a consultant. We are doing private domestic infant adoption. The first thing i suggest you do is decide whether you would want to work with an agency or do a private adoption. FM me if you have more questions! I belong to a group that meets monthly also.
